Credits are not a universal minute allowance: uploaded files and public social URLs use different rates. Read the current pricing and the displayed estimate before starting.

A file-to-subtitle workflow you can check

  1. Upload a recording you have permission to process. The standard upload limit is 1 GB per file, including Pro.
  2. Choose the spoken language, start transcription and inspect the recording alongside the result.
  3. Correct names, figures, negations and speaker changes. For subtitles, check timing and cue length.
  4. Export TXT, DOCX, XLSX or SRT. AI summaries and translations consume credits separately.

Listen before choosing

The language page below includes human FLEURS audio, the dataset reference, unedited engine output, subtitles and provenance. It is a small read-speech test using FastScribe settings; competitors were not run on the same audio, so it cannot establish a product ranking.

Questions to decide with

Which tool is more accurate?

This article does not report a controlled comparison. Test the same recording in the tools you are considering and assess errors that matter to your work, especially names, numbers and missing words.

Can I publish generated subtitles immediately?

Review the text, timing and line breaks first. A successful export does not prove that the captions are correct.
