Online File Converter & File Conversion API

Docpose.cloud is an online file conversion platform and developer-facing API designed for secure, scalable, and high-fidelity transformation of files across a wide range of formats. It supports 432+ input and output formats spanning documents, images, audio, video (including 4K/8K), CAD/3D models, archives, web fonts, and enterprise presentations. Built on AWS S3 infrastructure, it processes files in the cloud with automatic encryption and deletion, eliminating the need for users to manage conversion infrastructure.
The platform serves two primary user groups: end users who require browser-based conversion tools for common tasks (e.g., PDF to DOCX, HEIC to JPEG), and developers and SaaS teams who integrate its RESTful API v2 into automated workflows. Its architecture targets reliability, security compliance, and predictable quality — making it suitable for businesses with mission-critical file processing needs, including those in regulated sectors such as finance.
Users interact with Docpose.cloud either through its web interface or programmatically via its REST API. In the browser, users upload files or select them from integrated cloud storage providers (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box), choose a target format, and initiate conversion. The system detects format characteristics, applies intelligent optimizations (e.g., upscaling for legacy images, HDR processing for video), and returns the converted file for download or direct integration.
For developers, the API enables asynchronous or synchronous conversion requests. Files can be submitted directly, referenced via presigned URLs (e.g., from S3 buckets), or pulled from supported cloud storage services. Webhooks notify clients upon job completion, while GraphQL queries allow flexible access to job status and metadata. All processing occurs in isolated, encrypted environments; no files are retained beyond 24 hours unless explicitly configured for enterprise retention policies.
