Unravl operates through a three-stage workflow: Speak, AI structures, Edit & act. Users begin by tapping the microphone and speaking naturally—no scripting or structured phrasing is needed. The system captures the audio stream and transcribes it in real time using Whisper. That transcription is then passed to GPT-4o, which analyzes semantic intent to classify each utterance into one of several predefined types (e.g., "Call the dentist tomorrow" → Task; "Dinner Friday at 7" → Event) or into user-defined custom categories.
The output appears as a clean, categorized list within seconds. Users can review, edit, reassign items between categories, set reminder times, or share individual items via native share sheets (mobile) or link copying (desktop). No intermediate editing of raw transcripts is required—the AI handles disambiguation, time inference (e.g., "tomorrow", "next Wednesday"), and contextual grouping (e.g., merging "milk" and "eggs" from separate recordings into one grocery list).
Unravl supports practical daily workflows where verbal capture is more efficient than typing: managing household logistics (grocery lists, family appointments), tracking professional deadlines and calls, organizing social plans, and capturing fleeting ideas during commutes or walks. Its smart grocery list feature consolidates items across sessions and groups them by store section, enabling efficient in-store navigation.
