Engage God's Encouragement

Doxa is a mobile application designed to help users engage with spiritual encouragement in a structured, personal, and enduring way. It integrates three verified sources of encouragement—Scripture (the full Bible), real-life testimonies from The Grace Record (1,800+ verified stories), and the user’s own recorded moments of encouragement—to support reflection, recall, and growth over time. The app is intended for individuals seeking meaningful, grounded engagement with faith-based content, particularly those who value authenticity, personal relevance, and long-term retention of spiritually significant experiences.
The platform supports both text and voice input, enabling users to ask questions, explore biblical passages by meaning rather than keyword, save personal reflections, and revisit past encouragement at any time. Available on iOS and Android, Doxa operates without requiring a credit card for initial use and emphasizes privacy and personal ownership of saved content.
Doxa functions as a retrieval-based interface rather than a generative AI system. When a user submits a question or prompt—either by typing or speaking—the system analyzes intent and matches it against three discrete, curated data sources: the full Bible (31,000+ verses), The Grace Record (1,800+ verified testimonies spanning diverse life situations and historical contexts), and the user’s private Encouragement Vault (containing their own saved verses, reflections, and recorded moments). Results are retrieved based on semantic relevance, not keyword frequency, allowing users to discover passages or stories aligned with emotional, situational, or thematic resonance.
Each interaction preserves contextual continuity: previously saved items in the Vault influence future recommendations and appear alongside Scripture and testimonies in unified results. Users may tap to record new encouragement directly within the app, view transcripts of prior voice interactions, browse The Grace Record by topic or chronology, or explore Bible passages with integrated cross-references. All content remains locally accessible and privately stored unless explicitly shared by the user.
Doxa supports practical spiritual practices including journaling, scripture study, testimony review, and guided reflection. Users may revisit specific Bible verses that previously provided comfort during hardship—even if they no longer recall the reference—by describing the situation or emotion instead of searching by chapter and verse. Individuals recovering from doubt or uncertainty can explore verified testimonies from people in comparable circumstances, reinforcing experiential credibility. Pastoral counselors, small group leaders, and faith-based educators may use the app to identify illustrative Scripture and real-world parallels for teaching or mentoring. The Encouragement Vault serves as a longitudinal archive of personal spiritual milestones, enabling users to track patterns of growth, recurring themes, and evolving understanding over months or years.
