Insight is a habit-focused productivity app that turns goals and journal reflections into actionable quests. It combines quest-based task management, adaptive reminders, streaks, and weekly journal pattern analysis to help users close the gap between intention and daily execution.
The app is designed for people who struggle to follow through on reminders, journalers who want their reflections to translate into concrete actions, and users who prefer structured, gamified progress tracking. Insight is available on iOS, with Android in development and a public waitlist.
Users chat with Alex to describe goals or situations. The assistant generates quests—either recurring or one-time—and sets suitable reminders (e.g., 8 pm for a walk, mornings for meditation). Quests can be initiated quickly from conversation and adjusted over time.
When a quest is completed, Insight records progress, builds streaks, and awards achievements. The visible streaks and progress metrics help maintain momentum and clarify what was accomplished each day.
Journal entries are analyzed for patterns on a weekly cadence. Insight highlights trends such as repeated mentions of stress on specific days or activities associated with improved mood, then recommends or updates quests accordingly to turn reflection into action.
