Practice Spoken English with AI

MockTalk is an AI-powered platform for practicing spoken English through voice-based role-play. It is designed for non-native English speakers who want to build conversational confidence for interviews, workplaces, travel, and everyday interactions.
The platform addresses common barriers to speaking practice, including limited real-life opportunities, the cost of classes, and discomfort in group settings. Users can practice privately, on demand, in realistic scenarios that mirror common situations and conversational roles.
Users select a scenario that matches their goal, such as a job interview or ordering at a restaurant. They choose a session duration (3 or 5 minutes), grant microphone access in the browser, and begin speaking with an AI character aligned to the scenario’s role.
During the conversation, the AI prompts, responds, and adapts to the user’s speech in real time. After the session, users receive immediate insights on their conversation skills and can keep their practice history and progress associated with their email.

MockTalk supports targeted practice for common communication needs. Learners can prepare for English-language job interviews, participate more effectively in meetings, handle customer service calls, navigate travel (e.g., asking for directions or hotel check-ins), and manage daily tasks such as shopping or ordering at restaurants.
The platform emphasizes frequent, short practice to build fluency and confidence. Realistic scenarios and role-based interactions help users practice relevant vocabulary and phrases, while immediate feedback guides self-directed improvement without the pressure of speaking to a real person.
