Your day-to-day AI memory that listens and remembers

Auden is an OS-level audio capture and summarization tool designed for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. It enables users to record audio from their microphone, system output, or both simultaneously—and then automatically transcribes, summarizes, categorizes, and stores the content using AI. The product is intended for professionals and knowledge workers who need to retain information from meetings, lectures, interviews, brainstorming sessions, podcasts, voice memos, and personal journaling.
Auden operates as a persistent background service that integrates with common communication platforms—including Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams—to detect active calls and prompt recording. Its architecture prioritizes privacy through end-to-end encryption, local processing where possible, and secure cloud storage. Users retain full control over their data, with no third-party access.
Auden’s workflow consists of three core steps: Listen, Stop, and Review. A single click initiates audio capture—either from the device’s microphone, system audio stream, or both concurrently. During capture, users can pause or stop at any time. Once stopped, Auden processes the audio locally or in the cloud, generating a transcript, summary, action items, and decisions within seconds.
After processing, users receive a notification indicating that the summary is ready. Each session is assigned a title (e.g., "Q4 Budget Review"), timestamp, duration, and category—either auto-assigned by AI or manually selected. Users can replay the original audio, view and edit the full transcript, regenerate summaries for improved detail, or adjust category assignments. Calendar and meeting app integrations trigger automatic detection banners when supported applications are launched.
Auden supports a range of practical use cases across professional and personal contexts. In meetings, it captures decisions, action items, and ownership assignments—reducing reliance on manual note-taking. For students and lifelong learners, it aids lecture retention and concept review via searchable summaries and transcripts. Journaling and idea capture benefit from quick voice-to-text conversion and structured organization by custom categories. Remote teams use it to maintain alignment across asynchronous workflows, while podcast listeners and interviewers leverage it for accurate, time-stamped reference material. Its cross-platform availability and encrypted storage make it suitable for regulated or privacy-sensitive environments.
